Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Simmons University Kotzen Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Language Requirement: English proficiency
  • Eligible Countries: Open to students from all countries
  • Standardized Test Scores: Minimum ACT score of 28, SAT score of 1300 (new) or 1250 (old SAT – CR+M), with at least 600 in each SAT section recommended.
  • Academic Criteria: Must apply as a freshman for the fall semester, have a GPA of 3.3 or higher (unweighted), and demonstrate a strong academic record with honors, advanced placement (AP), or international baccalaureate (IB) courses.
  • Additional Requirements: Non-native English speakers must submit TOEFL scores and SAT or ACT scores. Applicants should have completed an advanced level math course during or prior to their senior year of high school.
